Little League Baseball | Ages 5-18
As partners with local, volunteer operated recreation clubs, the City of Roanoke Parks and Recreation offers softball and Little League baseball during the spring. Registration typically opens in January, with practices starting in March and games beginning in April. To register for youth softball or Little League Baseball, contact the recreation club that services the area in which you live.
Must be a City of Roanoke resident to register.
Softball Divisions
8U – ages 5 – 8
10U – ages 9 and 10
13U – ages 11 and 12
17U – ages 13 – 17
For softball, ages are determined on December 31 of previous season (2022).
Little League Baseball Divisions
Tee Ball – ages 5 and 6
Coach Pitch – ages 7 and 8
Minors – ages 9 and 10
Majors – ages 11 and 12
Juniors – ages 13 – 15
Seniors – ages 16 – 18*
For Little League baseball, ages are determined on August 31 of the current season. *Eighteen-year-old players must still be enrolled in high school.
