Mill mountain and garden city

On this 10.5-mile route, you’ll visit five parks and two recreation centers while challenging yourself on a climb up Mill Mountain. Starting in southeast Roanoke’s Belmont Park, you’ll first cycle past Morningside Park, home to a community garden and a new natural-surface trail you should come and try out sometime. You’ll get some of the best views in this city as you approach the top of Mill Mountain, then an almost continuous downhill to Garden City, where you’ll have the chance to go by the Garden City Recreation Center and Garden City Park a short distance away. Discover the new Garden City Trail, leading away from the rec center!
