Roanoke’s annual Anthem GO Outside Festival (GO Fest) continues to get bigger and better each year. Taking place in River’s Edge Sports Complex, the free three-day outdoor recreation festival attracted 30,000 people in 2016. For the second year, Roanoke Parks and Recreation and Roanoke Outside have partnered with Across-the-Way Productions to build GO Fest’s musical lineup. Musicians will start grooving at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday and are playing all day long at two different stages. After the music is over, attendees are invited to dance at a Silent Disco in the ENO tent and hammock lounge. You won’t want to miss the festival’s headliner, Marcus King Band, who will hit the stage at 9:15 p.m. on Oct. 14!
