A few facts for new organizers:
Roanoke has a variety of parks, plazas, and greenways for events of many sizes. Speaking with our staff will help you decide which parts of the park you’ll want to reserve.
Most events require an Assembly Permit, and some of those events will also require an Emergency Action Plan with the City.
Reservations and permits are required 30 days in advance of an event. Many organizers get their dates as early as a year out, so you’ll want to plan ahead!
