Vic Thomas Park

Vic Thomas Park lies on the Roanoke River Greenway and features an array of art billowing out from the park’s wild grasses and flowers. It’s also one of the only parks with exercise equipment located up and down the loop of the Roanoke River greenway as it leads into Wasena Park. In 2022, a beginner-friendly bicycle skills loop was added to the park. Vic Thomas Park is also located right behind Black Dog Salvage, the famous Roanoke locale with its own television series.
