These interactive programs are specially designed for children 12 and under to get creative while enjoying a fun painting class! NOKÉ’S HOLIDAY HUNT
Noké the Gnome is back for the holidays with a unique challenge! This self-paced, family-friendly scavenger hunt will have you solving puzzles and exploring all around the grounds of Fishburn Mansion. Solve 10 challenges to find the gifts Noké has lost and you’ll receive a holiday goodie bag. Register as a group and reserve your start time. CANDLELIGHT TOURS OF FISHBURN MANSION
Enjoy an intimate tour of Roanoke’s historic Fishburn Mansion by candlelight. The 42-room, Georgian-Revival mansion was built in 1907 by Junius B. Fishburn. During the tour, you will see the home in its holiday finest as you learn about the history of the mansion and the family that occupied it. Take a step back in time and explore the legacy the Fishburns left behind. The tour will last approximately 45 minutes. Pre-registration is required for this program and space will be limited. Choose from one of three time slots being offered December 9th and 10th. Register today!
HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE AT THE FISHBURN MANSION
Join us December 12th for a FREE Holiday Open House at the historic Fishburn Mansion. Learn about the history of the home and the family that occupied it through a self-guided tour. Each room will be uniquely decorated and bring to life festive traditions. The mansion will be open to the public from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.; registration is not required. More Details Here
THE 100 MILER: CELEBRATING 10 YEARS!
Every year, hundreds of people in the Roanoke Valley celebrate the start of the New Year by accepting the Roanoke 100 Miler challenge. Commit to walking, running, or hiking 100 miles in 100 days! (Or substitute 1 mile with a 30 minute human-powered activity).
