Yoga in the Park Series
This class series is designed to celebrate the beauty of the moment. Set in beautiful Highland Park surrounded by tall trees and fresh air, each class will be an opportunity for relishing in the present moment and honoring the subtle bits of life.
Expect to start with a warm-up and sun salutations that open the body and prepare you for a sequence of fluid, breath-synchronized movements. We’ll explore creative sequences that incorporate elements from Power Yoga, Hatha, and perhaps a touch of Yin for deep stretches. This mix ensures that you’ll challenge yourself in new ways, tune into your body’s rhythm, and bring focus to the mind. There will be plenty of opportunities to modify and adjust based on your individual needs and experience level. Classes will often be supported by live, thoughtful instrumentation. Each class is 60 minutes. Bring your own mat and water. Meets every other Sunday from June 8 – August 17 (6 classes total).
