Project WET
Join this upcoming workshop to learn how you can make water topics come alive for your learners.
Project WET features a collection of 64 field-tested, hands-on activities and lessons for grades K-12. Content ranges from local to global, from laboratory to the field, and can be used in a wide range of teaching settings. After this workshop, you will know more about your local watershed and be ready to help your learners care more about local aquatic ecosystems.
Participants will receive:
– Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide 2.0
– Access to the Project WET portal, an online resource where educators can search, share and learn.
– Six hours of professional development that includes guidance for using Project WET, locally based content knowledge, hands-on activities, and networking.
Who
– Environmental educators teaching grade levels kindergarten through 12th grade.
– Classroom educators, outreach educators, scout troop leaders, formal and non-formal educators are welcome.
