Using the iNaturalist App, you and your teammates have the goal to catalog as many species of animals, plants, and fungi within city limits in 4 weeks.You can use images, videos, and audio recordings of species with GPS data to catalog your observations in the app.

We will host a kick off event at the Mill Mountain Discovery Center on the first day of the Bioblitz to give everyone the opportunity to practice with the app and work out any issues.

At the end of 4 weeks, we will begin tallying up each teams RESEARCH GRADE submissions.

We will stop the tally the day before GOFest begins. Prizes with be awarded during GOFest.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams with the most observations, and some hidden achievements that will be announced during awards ceremony.

Must have been observed within the SPECIFIED TIME FRAME (9/8 – 10/5)

Must have been observed within CITY LIMITS

Must be a RESEARCH GRADE observation
