Outdoor Photography: Introduction to Outdoor Photography
If you love the outdoors and always keep a camera handy, this workshop is for you.
Join our instructors and photography teacher Stephanie Klein-Davis to learn how to increase the quality of your photography. Whether you shoot with a camera phone, a DSLR, or a modern mirrorless camera, this workshop will cover topics to make you more comfortable taking photos in any scenario.
Our professional photographer will cover topics from camera gear, and settings, to the different kinds of outdoor photography such as landscapes, wildlife, and night sky photography. After a short presentation, we will take our cameras outside and practice some of the tips and tricks that were discussed, and this is only the beginning.
Throughout the summer, PLAY Roanoke will be hosting several photo trips and workshops highlighting and practicing the different kinds of outdoor photography.
About our Instructor, Stephanie Klein-Davis:
Stephanie is a fine art photographer and teacher, as well as an award winning, career photojournalist. Her professional experience includes years of working for newspapers, magazines, books and other national and international publications. She has studio and location experience in commercial and advertising including fashion, food, product, wedding , event and sports photography. She continues to work with clients in all genres of photography.
