Grants from the Fishburn Foundation and the Virginia Department of Historic Resources provided project funding for a technical team of architects, engineers, planners, historians, and builders to evaluate existing conditions, explore opportunities for the historic buildings and grounds, and develop strategies for funding improvements and expanding recreational programming.
