This past Wednesday, more than 50 riders competed in Roanoke’s first race in the 2017 Wednesday Night Disco Mountain Bike Race Series. Set in Mill Mountain Park, the five-mile course winds up from the base of the mountain and riders climb more than 1,000 feet of elevation gain.
After the race, participants and spectators enjoyed arepas from El Budare Grille, live music by Ryan Greer, and cold beer from Parkway Brewery, sponsored by RIMBA. The best part? All proceeds from the Wednesday Night Disco Race Series go directly toward building and maintaining local trails!
