What to Expect:
No previous yoga experience is required. All you need to do is bring a mat, wear comfortable clothing that you can move in, and bring some water. Please arrive early to find a spot and get settled. The class will begin right at 8:30 a.m. The style of yoga that we will practice is called Vinyasa yoga, which is focused on fluidly aligning movement with breath. We will start the class with a few minutes of gentle breathing exercises before moving into a seated warm-up vinyasa. Once our muscles are warmed up, we’ll flow through some Sun Salutations and begin to explore a wide range of balancing postures, twists, forward bends, backbends, and inversions. Throughout the class, participants will be offered different posture modifications.
