Ring of Fire is a fiery musical about the Man in Black himself – Johnny Cash! Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash follows the story of Cash’s life: his early days in the cotton fields of Arkansas, the launch of his musical career in Memphis, his marriage to his beloved June Carter, and all the soul-stirring music he created along the way. Prior to the play, we will stop for lunch (on your own) and visit some of Abingdon’s sights.

PRICE INCLUDES: Roundtrip transportation on Roanoke Parks and Rec bus/van, visit to Draper Mercantile, a stop at The Dutch Pantry, admission ticket to Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash, sightseeing in Abingdon and a tour host.

DEPARTURE TIMES AND LOCATIONS: The bus will depart at 7:15 a.m. from Valley View Mall (overflow parking lot between Belk & 581) Roanoke; and at 7:30 a.m. from Food Lion, Exit 137, Salem, VA. Pickups available in Christiansburg and Dublin also. Return time is around 8:30 p.m.

CANCELLATION POLICY: The trip is based on a minimum amount of paid participants by March 13, 2024. If we should cancel the trip, a full refund will be given. If you cancel prior to March 13, a refund less $40 ticket penalty will be issued. After March 13, 2024, there will be no refunds.
