Read Mountain Greenway

Read Mountain Greenway was constructed from winter 2019 to summer 2020. The first greenway in Northeast Roanoke, it is 0.68 miles long and primarily serves as a great lunch break for those that work in the Blue Hills Industrial Park or a short stroll for citizens living close by. The master plan for this greenway calls for it to connect to Tinker Creek Greenway in the west and Roanoke County’s Read Mountain Trails in the east.
