Roanoke Parks and Recreation is excited to announce that city youth baseball will have Little League® affiliation for the upcoming 2023 season. Founded in 1939, Little League Baseball boasts over 180,000 teams and 2.6 million players globally, making it the world’s largest organized youth sports program. “We are committed to delivering an evolving and improving product of excellence for all of our youth athletics citywide, and this is a wonderful step toward that goal,” says Jaime Mather, President of the City Council appointed Youth Athletics Review Board (YARB).
