Join a live wreath making class at the Fishburn Mansion and learn a beginner-friendly holiday DIY! Wreaths are full size and will last beautifully throughout the season. Multiple dates available, but space is limited!
Visit the Historic Fishburn Mansion for The Holiday Open House!
Journey back in time and immerse yourself in the enchanting ambiance of the Historic Fishburn Mansion. This grand 42-room Georgian-Revival mansion, built in 1907 by prominent philanthropist Junius B. Fishburn, will transport you to an era of festive celebrations and heartwarming traditions.
On Sunday, December 17, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the mansion and grounds will be open to the public for a FREE Holiday Open House. Take a self-guided tour through the exquisitely decorated rooms, adorned with twinkling lights, festive garlands, and shimmering ornaments.

Kick off the season with the Christmas Tree Lighting in Downtown Roanoke!
As the holiday season approaches, PLAY Roanoke’s Urban Forestry team is gearing up to transform the heart of our city into a winter wonderland. Friday, December 1 is the official lighting of the City of Roanoke’s Christmas tree! The festivities commence at 5:30 PM, and the tree lighting ceremony takes center stage at 6:20 PM.
